Re-Stock Or Not ?

I just bought a new Winchester M70 300WSM SS Synthetic Stock . Should I remove the original and replace it with a fiberglass, ie:McMillan or Rimrock or just glass bed the original . Does anyone know who makes the factory original synthetic stocks for Winchester ?

Browning use the same stock, or they did. If your doing it yourself I would glass it first and see, befor spending the $. If your haveing a smith do it, it mite be cheaper to buy the stock and have him fit it. You did not say why you want to restock. Wont shoot, or just don't like it?
