Did Ruger ever make a 45 Blackhawk 3.75"

I know Ruger makes a vaquero 45 colt with the 3.75" barrel and a super Blackhawk 44 mag with the 3.75" barrel, but have they ever made a Blackhawk 45 colt with a 3.75" (or smaller) barrel? I would like a large frame (not new model vaquero) 45 colt short barrel Ruger SA

Lipsey has the Ruger Vaquero birds head in 3 1/2. But I have never seen a Blackhawk in 3 1/2 other than a modified one.
There is a company that modifies Rugers and I thought I had their web address that will shorten barrels but I can’t find it right now. I’ll get back to you if you’re interested in going that way.

I don't think they ever have, but with the apparent success of and response to the 3.75 inch .44 Magnum, I would not be at all surprised to see a run in .45 Colt.

Here it is, I met Jim at a SASS match several years ago and handled a couple of his Ruger’s. He might do a Blackhawk.
Give him a call, great gunsmith

Seems to me I remember Ruger "Store Keeper" models as in this ad:

No Blackhawks, only the fixed sight Vaqueros and New Vaqueros.

Jimmy made a custom 1/2 cock Super Blackhawk hammer for my 45 Colt BH, and did a slick action/trigger job on it. He's a nice guy and does good work.

I have an old mod. .44 spec. 3" Blackhawk, but Ruger didn't make it that way. I did.
