Slugs and Screw Chokes

When shooting a rifled slug, what is the most constrictive choke that will not cause problems? I'd assume an Improved Cylinder would be OK, but should I use a Skeet or Cylinder? Is there anything published on this?

I believe you can get away with modified, but improved cylinder is reccommended. You can use skeet or cylinder, but I think improved cylinder is the best one. That is why so many HD Shotguns are improved cylinder.

I don't know any of what I just said to be absolute fact, but I'm sure someone knowledgeable will chime in.

Most shotgun shooters say their guns are a bit more accrate shooting "rifled" (Forster-type) slugs when they use a slight constriction like IC or SKEET as it stablizes the slug before it leaves the barrel.
