Need a source for a bolt for a Colt single Action Army in .45

Had a friend drop by with a gun he needs a part for and I have checked Numrich, Brownells and once Bobs is again taking orders I may have to go through them unless someone else has a source. I dont know how this guys soninlaw did it but this pretty Colt single action Army is missing the bolt. I was hopeing that the bolt spring was broken but the spring is fine but the bolt is missing.

I do not shoot cowboy action but this son inlaw does. All the screws were loose so I do not know if he was cleaning it and got a bit OCD or it actually broke but without the bolt the only thing holding the cylinder is the hand and that aint a good thing so I need some other sources if you have any.

So does anyone know of a source others then the ones I have listed?

Read my post it aint no clone it is one ov the newer ones that Colt produced in the 70s. Numrich is out, Brownells does not stock them but Bobs will beack to taking orders again in a few days......just looking for other sources.

In these here fotums (all of them) colt can be a generic term.
colt designed versus Remington designed in Black powder.
Versus actually made by Colt industries.
That why I asked, is it an original colt or one of the knock offs.

Made in the 70's ----- a lot of replica makers have been around before and during that time also.

But since you clarified it, then no on the VTIgunparts

Howdy

I bought a bolt for a 2nd Gen Colt from Peacemaker Specialists a bunch of years ago, just to have on hand in case I needed it. One day the bolt broke in one of my 2nd Gen Colts. Be advised that bolts are often not drop in parts. Mine needed considerable fitting by an expert.

I am not to concerned about fitting the bolt....now as to experts this Colt has supposedly been seen by a number of "experts" around here yet It tooik me less then five minutes to see what the problem was with the gun duh no bolt.......
