Only took me about a week to find one when I wanted it. When I decided on the Shield when I needed a CCW, I called my local Cabelas for about 3 days in a row. 2nd day they had the Shield in .40. Decided I'd wait wait it out for the 9mm and behold, day 3 they got one in stock. Rushed over around 12pm on a weekday when it was fairly empty. Filled out electronic 4473 and was out the door in about 5 minutes
