Colt DS II finish

Was looking around the gun shops and found one but the finish looked more like bead blasted then brished stainless, did they ever make on with bead blasted finish?

With Colt, this is hard to say.
I seem to recall a bead blasted matte finish version, but if so, it would have been a limited production item.
Usually, these came in satin stainless or a few in bright mirror polish.

Without an original box, and maybe not even then, there's just no way to be sure unless you want to spend $75.00 for an Archive letter.
