Leupold Mark 4 zero

I am just starting to get into the long range shooting, and was hoping some of you experts would take a few min to answer a question. I recently purchased a Remington 700 LTR in .308 I put a Leupold Mark 4 scope on it and have loved it so far. My question is about zeroing my scope. I used the turrets and got a good zero at 200 yards. I loosened the allen screws in the turrets and turned the dials to 0. The elevation dial has horizontal marks that I think indicate the number of rotations for the turret. My zero shows five horizontal lines on the turret. I was hoping to zero it at the second line to get more adjustment out of it, but no matter how many times I turn it it still shows five lines. Is there a way to adjust it to the second line? I hope my question makes sense. Being that I am new to this I don't know all the correct terminology. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
