Loud bikes? You lead 'em enough, they go quiet.

Only thing hurts my hunting is that my legs went and got old.

It is not slowing our plans down. Only change for me and my buddy is we will have to do more planning and manage our ice supply better to keep from having to drive to civilization as often.

Well, most of my local hunting spots haven't moved, so instead of paying $10 in gas to get there, we're spending $20. My kid and I camp out for 3 days here and 3 days there so the cost of hunting hasn't really gone up; just the cost of getting there. My shooting range is 3 miles from here so that isn't worth mentioning. The most expensive change is the $7000 loss of reloading equipment and supplies that the effing burglars took last season while I was in the woods. I'd eat the rise in gas prices if the police could get my stuff back (not likely).

No. At least not yet. My buddy always wants to drive is van & trailer so I'll give him more than half of his gas cost. I think if gas gets to $5 per gallon, I might cut back on keeping the feeder going all year round.

I will still be hunting as usual. I will probably share a ride to the lease more often!

I am going to start our feeders a little later this year. Normally we feed through the summer, but with the cost of corn we are going to wait till a couple of weeks before season starts turn the feeders on.

Since I hunt 1.5 hours from my house on my property and gas being 1.36L I will sacrafice other things to get my hunting in.I do have a 20' trailer on the property to stay in while I hunt so it cost me $70-80 round trip.
