You may also want to look for opinions on the Winchester SX-2 series of autoloaders, since that is what the FN's are based on.

I have the Mossberg 930, but I have several friends that swear by their Winchesters, the SX-2 is an excellent shotgun, it can handle a wide variety of shells and is a very soft shooter. The FN is a similar animal... From what I have read, some of the FN SLP's are going to be built in South Carolina, using more US made components, so that they can be 922r compliant.

If you don't mind the price, the FN / Winchesters are excellent shotguns.
