Need a new scope

Just looking for opions on a new scope for my Tikka T3 light 7mm rifle. I primarily use it for deer hunting in eastern SD but also have gotten into long range shooting. I'm looking to spend around $500 or $600 and would like to have mil-dot reticle and adjustable turrets.
Thanks

If it were my money, it would be either a Sightron SII Big Sky 4.5-14x44 MD or a 6-24 version of the same basic scope.

I like magnification and have no trouble with "target acquisition" with high magnification scopes, so I'd almost certainly get the 6-24.

If you're not used to having high-power optics, you might stick with the 4-14, but the difference between 4 and 6 isn't enough to worry about, most likely.

All depends on how you handle a scope though.
