Where Can I Get Browning Magazines for a BDA .380?
I talked by phone some months ago to a Browning rep asking if I could order a magazine for my Browning BDA 380 cal. semi-auto pistol. They said Browning had quit making the Browning DBA 380 and they had no magazines in stock anymore. They were not making the magazines since the pistol had been discontinued. It is a beaut of a pistol, chrome or polished stainless with polished walnut (?) grips.
Anyone have a suggestion as to where I might try to purchase a spare magazine for this pistol? Thought it wise to ask you for your thoughts. |

I hope you don't mind, but I think you'll get better responses with a more specific title. If you don't get good help in here after awhile, I'll move it to Handguns: Semi-Auto and see if that works better. Good luck.

Beretta 84 mags will work just fine. You can find ten or thirteen round mags on Gunbroker or at any large gunshow.
MecGar makes a fine replacement- DO NOT buy anything other than MecGar, Beretta, or Browning mags! (MecGar makes the Browning & Beretta magazines anyway) Promag and USA are cheap and do not work as well. |

For JohnSKa
JohnSKa: My thanks for your suggestions. You were very helpful to me and I made hard copies of it for my gun record. Beats me why Browning did not give me advice on locating a Beretta mag for my Browning BDA 380. By the way I had one of the medalions on the polished handle come off and was lost. Browning sent me two medalions for replacment at no cost. My original Browning medalion was shown as I recall with a capital "B". My replacements showed Brownings new logo. Thanks also to Dogtown Tom for his contact.

Beretta made the Browning BDA .380 on contract. Your pistol is nickel plated, not chromed or stainless.
