Episode 243 - National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA) Classification System
Steve dives into the details of the National Sporting Clays Association (NSCA) Classification System. It is similar to USPSA's classification system but is a slightly more accurate measure of an individual's performance because it does not have specific classifier stages. It takes match results to form the basis of this classification system.

You can find out more about NSCA here : http://www.nssa-nsca.org

Episode 244 - USPSA Carry Optics Division
Larry talked about the proposed new division for USPSA in a recent episode (235) which, at that time, was supposedly to be called Production Optics. We've now gotten word that USPSA has provisionally accepted a new division called Carry Optics for those who wish to run their guns with a red-dot on it. Larry walks us through the rules and what's new.

Episode 247 - Why Shoot .40 S&W in USPSA Open?
As you all know, Larry is a HUGE .40S&W fan. He shoots .40 almost exclusively in as many divisions he can, both minor and major and that's the only caliber he handloads. A while back, we recorded an episode on why the .40S&W caliber is so versatile and now we tackle the topic of shooting .40 S&W in the USPSA Open Division which is dominated by the 30 caliber pistols, both 38 super and 9mm.

Episode 249 - Outdoor GSSF Matches
Did you know Glock runs their own shooting matches? The Glock Sports Shooting Foundation (GSSF) runs these matches all over the country. Simple yet fun stages with a pretty attractive prize "table" make it very attractive to shooters both new and experienced. Larry talks about his experience shooting these matches recently and what you can expect from it.

Episode 254 - Prize Table Stuff
Most of us has experienced this, we've paid good money to go shoot a big match, be it IDPA or a USPSA Level 2+ match and although had lots of fun, didn't place well in the match. We look forward to the prize table. In IDPA, the prizes are given randomly whereas in USPSA, the prizes are given depending on your final placement. We've all gotten lots of stuff, from bags, to muzzle brakes to certificate for bullets. Rick got to walk the prize table at the recent Washington State IDPA Championships and got a few things he'd like to share with us. A BCM Gunfighter charging handle, UnderTech Undercover holster shirt and a Calbico Channel Cleaning tool.

Episode 259 - Should We Get Rid of Limited 10?
With the change in the USPSA organization and the appointment of a new President, there has been a lot of chatter around how the sport is going to evolve when it comes to the divisions. There are many members who think that some divisions should be dropped because of lack of relevancy or participation, most notably Limited 10.

Steve, Larry and Rick are together this week to talk about Limited 10 and whether it should be dropped from USPSA... or not.

Wow it's incredible. We made it to five years. That's 260 weekly episodes since we started the PowerFactor Show. Rick, Steve and Larry celebrate five years on camera talking about our ups, our downs and what the future holds for the show. We can't thank our fans, viewers, supporters and sponsors enough for allowing us to do this.

Let us know what you'd like us to cover on the show and send us your match videos so we can critique them on camera.

Episode 261 - Larry's "Shorty Forty" USPSA Open Pistol
Everyone should know by now that Larry's favorite caliber is 40S&W. It's all he shoots in USPSA and other pistol sports. He's shot USPSA in Limited, Production, Carry Optics and now Open. Larry has always wanted to build an Open Pistol and based his new build on his Carry Optics gun that he made a while back. He calls this gun, the "Shorty Forty".

Steve and Dave are back with a review of the MEC 300E Sporter trap machine. Lo-and-behold, someone from MEC did contact them and sent them a unit. Here's the review and a side by side comparison with a Promatic trap machine.
