ss marking die

hi all
A friend has this little thingy!and he has no idea if it is a fake,he got it from his uncle who worked in a arms factory in Belgium where they also produced arms for the SS.any idea's fake?value?

I'd say it's fake. I've never seen any Nazi stamps with anything but the 'eagle over the swastika'. No dates either. Mind you, I haven't been looking either. On the other hand, the SS didn't have any firearms made specifically for the SS.

Proofmark stamp

I own a FN 1920 32 ACP pistol that is Nazi proofed. It has 2 proof marks at several places. 1 is an eagle over swastika. The other is eagle over Wa and the numeral 140. Wa is for waffen (army) and the number is assigned to an individual inspector. The SS probably denotes an SS inspector. There were SS marked guns of many types. Don't have any idea of value, someone somewhere wants it, you can be sure.
