What Is It?
Got this about a year ago in trade. It is a smooth bore, 12 ga wads fit. Shoots real well with 60 gr FF , 12 ga wad, and a oz. of 6 shot. I just don't
know anything about it. Can anyone help? |

Kinda looks like a Wheel lock/Snaphaunce pistol style with a converted from Flint Lock to Percusion Lock & a indian trade trigger & guard arangement.
How well does it patern & handle with that loading? |

If it accepts a 12 ga wad, it is 76 caliber or so. Looks like someone was carried away with the pistols of the 1500s when they made that. And judging from the grain on that stock, it could be fir or pine, so be careful if you shoot it.
