Berretta 3032 "tomcat" question

Hello,
I'm new to this forum, but have been lurking for a few weeks. I have a question regarding a Berretta 3032. During firing it appearrs that the barrel at the muzzle end rises up from the slide causing a failure to eject. it does this about every 3- 4 rounds, I also noticed copper from the bullet on the inside right of the frame. Any thoughts about what is causing this, and how to correct this problem would be appreciated.

New one for me. I have shot a Beretta 3032 for years. Since muzzle end of barrel is hinged on the frame, I have never seen movement there. However, I have seen two handed shooters release the "tip up" lever while firing and cause the weapon to fail to feed the next round. These are fine semi auto's and there are not many qualified gunsmiths who like to work on them. I would send it back to Beretta in Accokeek, MD.
