recoil Reducing Folding Stock

anyone ever try one of these?
http://www.gunbroker.com/auction/Vie...p?Item=5647840

I was looking around at top folding stocks (I like them) and saw this. I kinda liked it then saw that it was supposed to reduce some recoil also...

any opinions from those that have actually tried one?

That is a Knoxx industries stock. They are great people to deal with and there products really work. I have the Compstock which is a full stock that absorbes the recoil. They say it cuts recoil in half and I have to agree with them.

I am thinking of getting an 870 w/18" barrel for a house gun and wanted a top folding stock. I would kinda like to feel how sturdy the wire part is, and how it feels against the shoulder. As long as it is bearable, and not totally coat hanger flimsy I may get one. I doubt I would have the need to unfold it, but like to have the option.

I was kinda thinking about a set of pistol grips, but a top folding stock with less felt recoil is a definite bonus....
