Varies by animal and situation. I try and hunt with most of my rifles, at least a little. Here's the jist of it, I'm sure I'm forgetting a few.

Elk:
1.Winchester Mod 70 in 30-06 with an old Weaver K4. This is my main elk gun.
2.Marlin 1895G in 45-70. Has a Weaver V3 on it. Backup elk gun, and sees some coyote stands
3. Winchester Mod 70 in 270WSM with a Zeiss 4.5-14x w/ target turrets. For long range work on deer and elk.

Deer:
1. Winchester mod 70 in 243 with a Nikon Monarch 4-16x w/ hunter turrets. My go-to deer gun, also has whacked a bunch of coyotes.
2. Winchester Mod 70 in 270WSM as noted above.

Coyote/predator:
1. My Win mod 70 in 243 noted above was my old stand by and I still love to drill coyotes with it.
2. Remington 870 Express shooting a "dead coyote" choke and #4 buck. Love shotgunning predators.
3. Just got an AR, 20" bull barrel w/ Vortex 3-9x scope. It is not yet bloodied.
4. Just got a Ruger 77/22 in 22 hornet w/ an old Weaver K4. Also not bloodied.
5. Marlin 1894 in 45 colt with Skinner peep sight. Has seen quite a few stands, bagged at least one coyote. It's fun to take out.

Birds/rabbits:
1. The 870 for birds historically, although I picked up some more scatterguns recently:
2. Stevens mod 12 in 16ga, side by side. Killed a few rabbits with it.
3. Have a used 870 wingmaster on layaway w/ 3 chokes. It'll see some action for birds I reckon.

Squirrels:
1. Ruger 10/22 with 3-9x bushnell. I've killed a whole nuch of tree rats with this thing.
2. Marlin 39A 22lr with an old Weaver (B1 I think). Scope is kinda blurry but I still managed a few squirrels with it this year.
3. Unknown brand .410 I just inhereited from my late Grampa. I don't like shotgunning squirrels but it comes in handy sometimes and I like to use it.
4. Marlin 25M in 22mag with 3-9x Tasco. Usually way more gun than needed, but for long shots it occaisionally comes in handy.

Geez, I'm jealous of the arsenal some of you guys have...

I have...

A Remington 700 SPS Buckmasters in .270 Win. (my "new" deer rifle)
A Ruger M77 Mk II all-weather in a Boyd's stock for bigger game (my "old" deer rifle)
Both rifles have a new model Nikon ProStaff 3-9 X 40 (BDC reticle) scope on them.
A Stoeger Condor 12 ga. O/U for pheasants that we don't have in Wisconsin

That's it. Of course I have $$$$$$$ in my golf clubs.

Spent most of my childhood hunting with just a Remington Viper .22lr and a Stevens single shot 20 gauge shotgun. I've since then added a pair of Mossbergs (20 gauge 500, 12 gauge 535), and a Traditions Yukon muzzleloader. Sometimes hunt with a Marlin 60 but much prefer the old Viper since it has a scope mounted and never fails to feed no matter what ammo I feed it.

Archery, I've got a PSE Lite Flite compound, Diamond Stud compound and a Parker Enforcer x-bow. The PSE is loud and slow compared to the others, yet it's the only one I've been successful hunting with .

I have a few rifles I hunt with and I switch off depending on how I'm hunting that day.

My blind/stand guns:

No4 Mk1 sportered by me, puts 5 rounds in roughly 1.5 inch at 50yds:

Oberndorf commercial Mauser, shoots like it's laser guided:

My walking rifle, Win 94 XTR .375 Win:

Squirrel guns:
Mossberg 146b. Made in the golden age of rimfires:

Weatherby XXII with Weaver K-10:

Generally only my squirrel guns are scoped because where I hunt is pretty thick woods and swamp but I am looking for a scoped rifle to add because I've been going to a new part of the state a bit and need a longer reaching rifle.

Kimber .22 Hunter .22lr for small game.

Remington 870 for turkeys and wing shooting

T/C Scout .54 caliber specifically for a couple extra deer days in Ohio

My hunting arsenal? Let's see:
* 1978 Ruger M77 in 7X57 with a Weaver 2-7X
* 1978 Interarms Mk X barreled in 22-250, stocked in AAA myrtlewood, wearing a Leupold VX-III 4.5-15X
* 1988 Interarms Mini-Mauser in 223, stocked in European walnut, topped with a Weaver 3-9X
* 1968 FN semiauto shotgun (lightweight alloy version of the A5), 12 gauge
* 1978 Browning Citori Field, 12 gauge.
* 1956 Browning Auto-5, 20 gauge
* 1990 Remington 514T, 22LR, with a Leupold 4X scope
* 1986 Ruger 77/22 Mag, topped with a Leupold 2-7X scope

What do I use when I go hunting? Usually my Ruger 77 or my FN 12 gauge. I'm a pretty boring guy, really. The others are just options, depending on the game.

Mine is pretty simple.

For deer and antelope I use a left handed Savage 110 in 7mm Rem Mag topped with a Nikon Monarch 3x9.

For deer I also use a Ruger No. 1 in 45-70 also topped with a Nikon Monarch 3x9.

For turkey I use a Mossberg 12ga.

Wow, I don't know how some of you guys decide which gun to take with you on any given hunt Gotta say, I'm a bit jealous.

Of my 19 firearms, only 3 are regular hunters.

My Ruger 10/22, Rem. 870 Mag, and my sporter Swede.

As I try my hand at more coyote hunting, the DR200 may go out when hunting the thicker stuff.

Safe hunting everyone

For deer I have A Savage 110 7mm mag with a 4x16 leapers scope.

For pig I use either the savage riffle or my Beowulf .50 AR.

For turkey and other winged critters I have my Mossberg 500 with a 26" barrel and a Remington 11-87 premier with a 28" barrel. Both 12g

For the little guys I have my Mossberg plinkster .22 with a bushnel 3x9.

Handguns I use either my glock model 22 .40 cal (mainly for back up in case a crazy pig wants to charge) or a Ruger blackhawk 357 mag.

K98 Mauser 8mm Sporter, Euro sporter job ('50s?) with custom safety and Leupold 3-9X 50mm. Great gun and I love the caliber with full power Euro spec loads.

Other two main rifles:

Remington Model 700 Classic 8mm with Burris Fullfield 3-9x 40mm

and

K31 7.5 x 55 (iron sights)

I like having something a little different.

For birds, a 30" barrel Marlin 12 GA. I'm not really a big shotgun guy, but I'd like to get a medium priced over/under shotgun for birds and skeet shooting. I'm simply not going to pay thousands of dollars, however, especially just for display case engravings and the like.

Also Ruger MkIII bull barrel .22 LR for squirrels and a S&W 686P I could use for deer, although I haven't gotten around to it.

Man I feel slightly inadequate after seeing all of these collections.

Mine humble collection consists of:

Remington 700 ADL Varmint .308 with cheap 4-12 scope (until I put better glass on it) for big game.

A Marlin 60 with a 3-9 scope for small game.

A Remington 870 Express for everything else.

I figure if I can't get it done with one of these three I'm doing it wrong.

I have a Stoeger M2000 semi-auto 12 gauge for just about everything. I just acquired a remington 700 ADL in .270 topped with a Nikon Monarch UCC 3-9x40.

What's crazy is my dad hates shooting guns but he's got an old Ithaca Model 37 Featherlight in 12 gauge, a Marlin 60 Papoose .22LR, and a Remington SPR-18 single shot 30-06. If he sees a nice gun at the lgs, he'll buy it. He hasn't even shot his 30-06 yet.

Rifles:

JC Higgins Model 50 in 30-06. It's an FN Mauser action with a chrome lined High Standard barrel. Deer, elk, antelope with various loads.

Remington Model 600 in 308 with Brown Precision fiberglass stock. The Model 50's only drawback is it's a bit heavy to lug over hill and dale, so the 6.5 lb Remington gets the call sometimes.

Marlin 1895 in 45-70. If I know the hunting is going to be close range. A 400 grain A-frame bullet @ 1800 fps will stop most anything.

Shotguns:

Upland - Franchi Renaissance O/U in 12 ga, 28" barrels. Light, easy to carry and powerful. Great recoil pad.

Turkeys / Ducks. - Mossberg 500 12 ga Grand Slam Turkey. 20" barrel, Realtree Hardwoods HD Green camo, fiber optic sights, Star Dot choke, nice thick pad. A delight to carry and plenty powerful within 40 yards. It gets a 28" barrel for ducks.
