Revelation 105 22LR - parts compatible with Marlin 80?
My uncle just gave me the Revelation 105 and the magazine kept dropping out at the range. Took it home and it looks to me like the magazine receiver catch is worn down - you can actually pull the magazine out pretty easily just by lightly yanking on it. I see the part available at Numrich for a Marlin 80 - which I believe is the same rifle. Anyone know if the parts for the Marlin would fit the Revelation?
Thanks for any info! |

I've heard it stated it's the same as a Model 80 and a Model 780, but I don't know which answer is correct, or if both use the same parts.
This site lists it as both: http://gun-data.com/western_auto_revelation.html

It seems likely they are compatible. I'll give it a try, at least the part is
inexpensive. Thanks for the link!
