Does anyone on the board own a Cabela's.? Just read a
'Gun Test" review and they gave it "best buy" At $199
it seems tough to pass on.

If you are asking if I own one of the Millenniums advertised in Cabella's, no. If you are asking if I've seen them in the catalog, yes. After just looking at them in a catalog I think I will pass. Even with the relately speaking poor quality of the photo the tool marks are easy to see under the dull tarlike blueing.......calling it blueing is being very charitable. There are a lot of singel actions out there that can be had for as little as $250 that have decent fit and finish. The catalog claims the guns are just as good on the inside as any other but they simply saved the money by not finishing them. I'm skeptical. Anything that looks that bad on the outside can't look too sharp on the inside.
