ok, thanks to citadel ive got a place to go...

now, whats a good holster for idpa? I just purchased a kimber custom stainless II. If anyone has any suggestions?

also need some good mag pouches.

ditty, since you just (I am assuming here) joined the Fraturnity of 1911, go over to http://www.1911Forum.com . We have several holsters makers as moderators that can help you decide exactly what you need. For instance, leather, cow or horse, kydex, OWB or IWB, will this holster be used only for competition or will you wear it every day? I think you know where I am going.

Great choice in weapon. I have two Kimbers, a Classic Stainless and a Classic Stainless Target. Would not even consider selling them.

I use a Fobus paddle holster and magazine holder for my Kimber...They both work fine and a real cheap...I was originally worried about wear, but have yet to see any...
