When you enter the state where asked for the issuing state of your drivers license, IT ALSO POPULATES the Registered Sex Offender "state" description. This could put a real kink in the processing of your CHL application. If you delete the state designation in the registered sex offender blank, it will erase the "state" entered into the drivers license issuing state. You can leave the drivers license issuing state field blank, then print the form and then enter it by hand with a pen before you sign and send it off.
