Anyone recognize this 22?

A buddy of mine says this gun is a Marlin but I thought the action resembled a Ruger 10/22. The serial number(?) on it reads TK014514. Any ideas on this?

Thanks for your help

The 10/22 receiver is almost squared off at the back where the Marlin has the taper to it. Otherwise from that view they do look similar.

it's a marlin model 60 in an ATI fiberforce stock.
marlin 60s are tube magazine fed,
ruger 10/22s and marlin 795s are box mag fed... the tube under the barrel is a dead giveaway...
