Looking for more small carry guns options.

So my EDC is mainly Glock 19 + Glock 26, or Glock 26 + S&W 38 J frame/Sig P938. I am looking for guns in these sizes[but not the 19], between the Glock 26,Jfame and Sig P938. Pretty much a Glock fanboy, but looking for more options, only have 4 peices I use for CCW, wanting to add another 1-2 in the next 12 months.

I have a few items for sale ATM and looking at buying later next month.

I am already looking at buying a Glock 27 to step up to 40 cal soon, but I need to rent to make sure I like the recoil in the small package.

I am looking for small guns that are good.

Please no S&W MP9c MP9, I thought about the Shield but I felt it and it felt cheezy. Budget <$700. Also no cheap $300< pistols, 380's 32's, etc... smaller than that. 9mm or larger. Looking for 9 or 40 cals no 45 please.

Kahe PM9/CM9 are nice, 6-7 or 8 shot with the extended magazine. Small as your j-frame, more shots, flatter profile.

Kahr K9 - Accurate, easy to shoot, mild recoil for its size/weight.
Walter PPS looks good but I have not tried it.

There are lots of good choices for 9mm or .40 S&W autos...apart from the Kahrs and Keltecs, these glock-like pistols come to mind...

Double stacks...

Ruger SR9c or SR40c
Smith and Wesson M&Pc
Walther P99c (QA trigger or DA/SA)
Springfield XD Subcompact

Single Stacks...

Ruger LC9
Walther PPS
Springfield XDs (5+1 rounds of .45 ACP)
Smith and Wesson Shield (single stack M&P)

I'm kind of partial to the P99c, not too many double stacked autos are only 18.7 ounces, (the 99c is actually lighter than the PPS, but thicker). In fact, it's about an ounce lighter than a G26.

Sig 239 .....( the Sig 220 is in .45 acp only ) its a different model...

http://sigsauer.com/CatalogProductDetails/p239.aspx

They come in different trigger configurations...different finishes...list price is $ 929 with nite sights....but in my area they're selling new for $ 750 - $ 825 or so .....and there are a lot of them out there used / in good shape as well.

Yep, like already mentioned, the Walther PPS, the Sig P239, the SA XD9sc/XD40sc and the Kahr PM9/CM9 would be good options to look at (possibly look at the CZ 2075 RAMI, the Beretta PX4 sub-compact and the Beretta Nano as well). If you raise your price cap some, the H&K P2000sk, the SA EMP and the Colt Defender/New Agent would be good options as well.

if you like your glocks, stick with striker fires. the walther family takes your glock, improves the grip angle and other ergonomics, removes the ridiculous muzzle flip, and gives you a far smoother trigger.

Three letters EMP, IMO its a great gun to shoot in either 9mm or .40 S&W.

Just add a Ruger LCP in 380 Auto loaded with 88 grain Remington UMC JHP. I was against the LCP until I shot one and carried it around for a day. It is that good. Every (non-felon) person in America should have one. The LCP is a "go anywhere" gun and, because of it, there is no excuse for being unarmed anywhere unless prohibited by law.

The Glock 19, 26, J-Frame/SIG P938 and the LCP will cover all of your carry needs The 19 and 26 are belt guns, with the 26 being the more discrete of the two with a flat magazine. The J-Frame and P938 are about the same size and fill the same role as a compact pistol when wearing tighter clothing. The LCP is nearly impossible to beat for concealed carry on the belt or in the pocket.

I have had poor luck with the Kahr PM9. Two out of three were unreliable and the plastic frames cracked. Perhaps they addressed those issues in later revisions of the gun. If you can get one that works, you'll find it accurate and almost as concealable as an LCP.

However, at $300, the LCP beats the $600+ PM9 hands down.

LCP. Your pocket needs one.

The recoil is not pleasant. My primary problem with the 27 and 33 is the development of carpal tunnel syndrome as the round count increases. The Glock 26 is about perfect for me and I see no need to change to a 27 or 33. Buy another 26, add night sights, and you'll be good to go for double fisted destruction in the Zombie Apocalypse!

if you're ok with a single stack, it's been mentioned already, but i'll say it again. the PPS is worth looking at.

Have you looked at the G36? Granted it's .45, but you said you like glocks, and it seems to be the right size.
