Bass Pro

I ordered $250 worth of ammo from Bass Pro in January, and none of the ammo that I ordered was supposed to be "on backorder." I received a small portion of my order, and the rest was back ordered. I have yet to receive $96 of my order from them, with no indication when I will get it. Any communication that I have had with them (when I called them) has not been helpful and they are very arrogant and evasive at their customer service department. I had received a gift certificate or I wouldn't have ordered from them anyway. I have heard a lot of negative things about Bass Pro, and I believe that there are reasons for it. :barf:

I have a Bass Pro just minutes from the house and they offer a very affordable place to shoot. I've learned to never go up on a weekend cause it's like sale day at Walmart and they are swamped with weekend warriors, bass fisherman and it can be overall choas.

They seem to do pretty good at this store for the amount of volume they do. Their prices on guns and ammo is not the best in town but they do a brisk business with a fairly good level of expertise.

You might want to talk with someone at the store. I have had excellent customer service from the staff at the Bass Pro in Concord, NC at least.

I buy a lot of clothing from Bass Pro. The only thing that turns me off about the store is having to take a number to look at a gun. I ain't playin' that game.

Don't do much as far as mail order from BPS but I do buy quite a bit from their store personally. Never had a problem with them when there in person.

What gets me is that they won't answer my emails. They have finally changed the order from backorder to out of stock. This is after more than 2 months. I'm referring to the online store. Again, none of the order was identified as being out of stock or on back order when I ordered in January. I have called and just get the runaround by cocky, arrogant customer service reps.
