Rem 1100

The other day I was sighting in my 1100 for deer season, when the operating handle fell out somewhere. I called Rem. and they told me this is getting common on older 1100's has this happened to anyone else?

Yes. Saw it happen to a guy while shooting Sporting Clays. The handle went flying off into the brush. We were never able to find it. Guy had to use my gun for the rest of the course

Better have a spare from now on, buy two and keep the spare where you can find it.
