Question to NY shotgun owners

Have you ever purchased Ammo over the net?
If so, were you able to get any type or are there limits to
what type you can get over the net?
And has anyone purchased 00 buck over the net?
If you have, whats some of the best sites to get good prices?

I think about anything is fair game

Shotgun ammon is pretty fair game and I know of no limits (Unless you are in NYC - Then check your laws). I use Ammotogo.com for my online ammo often - Also, check sportsman guide.

Have had no issues ordering ammo online. AR15.com has a ammo forum, lots of stuff on there, retail and personal sales.

There are many stores in my area that sell ammo, but they are all sold out, every one of them. I know why, everyone thinks the US is doomed because of the economy. And that after the collapse , there will be riots and things like that. Either way, I say its better to spend the money and have the ammo even if nothings going to happen, then to have something happen and be SOL.
Thanks for the links and info!

Where abouts are you located - ?NYS east or west?

I still get ammo through sportsman guide fairly easily (<1 week wait time to ship) last time I ordered in Early February

I am currently using fiocchi low recoil 00 buck in my maverick security. It patterns great in my 20" cyl barrel. Sportsmansguide is out until 3/2, but ammunition2go has it in stock now. I just ordered some federal LE 00 buck w/ flight control since everyone seems to rave about its tight patterns @25 yards. If you want buck shot for a SHTF scenerio, check out S&B, RIO, nobel sport and Wolf...all of them "open up" out of my Maverick and Ithaca DS police. If you are looking for low recoil slugs, again I suggest fiocchi at sportsmansguide. They are prety accurate for me!

I'm in western NY state - ~6 hours + from you

The gun laws are the same here, basically, but in general Western NY is more gun friendly. Lots of hunting, etc.
