Walther Mp5 22lr Sight/Scope Rail
Seems Im behind the times in getting one of these guns. I went with a group of friends Sunday and put a few hundred rounds through it and absolutely loved the gun.
Now to my question...are there any rails at a reasonable price? Everything Ive found on the web leads to HK Parts and a 100 dollar rail which I refuse to pay. Its ridiculous to pay a 1/5th of the gun price for a 3 inch strip of metal. The ones I have found that people say work have been discontinued. I have access to a machine shop if anyone might have the specs of said rail I would just make one out of aluminum. I was going to measure it out myself and see what happens, but its kinda tough not being able to bring the gun to the shop as it is at a local college that my friend teaches at. So I figured if anyone has one already they would be more accurate than doing a bit bringing it home laying it on marking adjustments and trying again. Thanks in advance Tim PS From what Ive read none of the ones that work with a GSG work with a Walther. |
