Rotors for Lyman Pistol Accumeasure?
I just picked up one of these the other day for a song, any idea where to get rotors for it? Specifically the #3 and #4 rotors?
I can't seem to find any on the web, I'll call Lyman in the am, but they don't list anything on their site. |

No lovin from Lyman
Just spoke with Lyman, they suggest gun shows as a source for rotors as this product is no longer made. Oh well, maybe not such a good deal after all....

I have one with a full kit of rotors. They are actually quite simple and anyone with a small metal lathe could easily turn a couple for you. They were originally made of brass but either steel or even aluminum would do quite well. Do you know of anyone who has a lathe, "real" or even a hobby type?
If you can get the rotors turned you could easily bore the powder chambers yourself. Use a 3/16" bit and drill it. If you go too far, put a plug of hard epoxy in the bottom of the cavity and try again, continue until you get it right! Last edited by wncchester; February 11, 2009 at 04:22 PM. |
