Kentucky Pistol!! What's this thing worth??
I was hoping to get some info on the value of a Kentucky Pistol made by cva. It's the percussion model .45 cal. I can only go by the guy at the local gun shop that said he'd give me 50 for it, I thought more like 100? Any feedback would be appreciated.

50 is a good price if it's in good shape.

It depends on the condition.
If it's in good to very good condition it could be worth $70 - $80. If the condition is like new then it could be worth up to $100. Last edited by arcticap; July 4, 2011 at 12:35 PM. |

Just don't forget that the guy at the gun shop is probably going to re-sell it and he has to have some room for profit in it as well. Unless he has a large number of customers that shoot BP and have an interest in that style lof pistol, chances are it's going to sit on his shelf for a spell.

$50.00 to you, $100.00 resale at retail is fair.
But, unless you are desparate for the $50.00, I would keep it as a wall hanger. |
