Scope mounting question...
I am mounting a pair of Mark 4 20MOA bases and scope rings to a long action Rem 700. In the past, I have always adjusted the scope for any windage alignment errors in the mount and rings. Is there any way mechanically correct the mounting inaccuracies inherent in the mount and rings?

Locolife, you can lap the rings to true them. That will usually help both horizontal and vertical alignment. If the elevation is off you can shim the base(s) to counter it. George
