Citric Acid For Cleaning Used Brass

I have heard of using citric acid for cleaning brass. I had an opportunity to get some from a pharmacist a couple of weeks ago and did so.

Problem is I don't remember how I am supposed to use the powdered citric acid to clean the brass. I sure would like a RKI to instruct me.

Use a 10% (w/v) aqueous solution of citric acid. Just dunk the cases in the solution; the gunk dissolves off the cases immediately. Rinse, dry, and you are set to reload. Walt
