Get primers, powder, and cast lead gas check bullets and then you'll have more fun than you ever imagined. Congrats.

Very nice...they sure are powerful. I have some great 450gr Keith GC from Mt.Baldy bullets that I shoot at 1000fps out of my 4""...can shoot them all day at this velocity, and they still have more killing power (TKO) than the 460 with a 250gr driven at 2000fps you made the right choice...now you just need to add the 4" to your collection so that you can pack it

Great looking gun. I have a 460xvr on order while I wait for my NJ Pistol permit to come in.
Let us know how it goes shooting it. I am curious how hard it is to hold solid on a target with such a heavy gun. I have never tried to hold on a target.

It's a beast of a revolver, I have only held one once and I think it was a shorter barreled version. A bit too much gun for me with factory loads I think. If I ever got one I would want to hand load and make them a little bit under powered.
It will either kill or deafen whatever you shoot at with it. |
