Alliant 3000mp

Just looking for feedback on this mag. pistol powder. I'd like to use it for 357. Only listing is from alliant

Hello Gun nut.I read a article on alliants powerpro 300mp in the feb 2010 Handloader magazine.In the article author used 17.5grns under 158jhp for a velocity of 1308fps and 18.5 for 1410fps out of a 4.5" barrel.sounds like a good powder for a 357.Exellent magazine.your post says mp3000 was this the powder you are talking about.there is a 3000lr powder for large rifles.I have not tried it yet.
