What's the difference between the Benelli M4 and the M4 LE?

So I notice that on some Benelli M4 it is labeled "M4 LE." I assume that means "law enforcement."
  • Is the "LE" version a different gun than the regular M4? and How?
  • Which is the version used by the military?
  • Is there any difference between the civilian version and the military M4?

Thanks in advance.
