Wow

What choke for 130 yards?

That video blows me completely away. Thanks for posting it.

His Sporting gun is a Perazzi choked Full and Full (actually I think it is a little tight on the full - at least .040)

Having to read the target (which I wouldn't even be able to see), factor in the drop of the target, the drop of the shot, etc. in a matter of milliseconds, is beyond my mere mortal skills

Wow!
He should get a special award for just seeing the target at 130-yards. I wonder how many P-guns that video will sell.

I noticed how he has to drop the shot into the target at those distances. Are you sure about his choking, Oneounce? I would think that far out he might go with an even tighter and perhaps a custom choke. Whatever he used, he didn't seem to change them as he moved futher back. I suppose he may have switched from one barrel with a full to the other by switching barrels.

My Perrazi catalog lists 12 choke sizes from 0 to 1.1-mm (0.043") in 1/10-mm increments. The four tightest of them would be called full, full, x-full and x-full using US conventions (my Remington trap gun came with three different full chokes). I'm guessing the long shot was made with at least a 1.1-mm constriction.

TKM - Digweed uses two Perazzis with fixed chokes for shooting FITASC and English Sporting - one is choked Mod and Mod for close targets, but his normal gun is chokes Full and Full for everything he normally shoots

He is a 19 time world champion and a great shot

round is a shape, not in shape

wow, amazing shooting.

During the interview session he was seemingly out of breath from pretty much not moving around much. poor guy needs to get into a shape other than round.

Wow! I was expecting a slug hitting a steel plate and being like no big.

That's actually even farther than 130 counting in height and how far the clay traveled. Simply amazing

I don't feel so great about my performance in shoot offs at the local club anymore. Thinking about how far we shoot and if you hesitate and shoot late it might be at 80 yards. AND we are using very specialized loads when we do it. Very little shot at very high speeds. They claim he is using "standard" loads. If they are anything close to normal trap loads the correction at that range would be so difficult at that range I can hardly imagine it.

Wasn't the trap set to toss the target straight up? It's a little easier that way. We have a scaled-down version of that presentation at our 5-stand. Many shooters wait until the target floats, for an instant, as it crests.

I thought I heard him say that he was switching to #5s for the long shot. By standard load, he probably meant that he was shooting factory loads, not something specially loaded for the demonstration.

I believe that the Black Diamond Gamebore in 5's run around 1500 fps. If you look at the trap, he's throwing it almost straight up. Simple shot.

I'm not sure I could SEE a clay pigeon at 130 yds let alone hit it!
