Box magazine for Model 70?

I just bought a new Winchester Model 70 Ultimate Shadow 7mm WSM. Awesome gun by the way, just shot it today for the first time. Anyway, I was reading through the manual and apparently some model 70's have a box magazine. Mine has the typical spring type magazine that most model 70's have. Is it possible to replace mine with a box magazine? Any advice would be great.

Numrich has the parts

Go to www.e-Gunparts.com

They have the box magazine that you will need to get as well as the floor plate you will need.

Be sure to tell us how that short magnum feeds after modification

Be sure to tell us how that short magnum feeds after modification. I had always thought the short magnum more sensitive to feeding issues and generally fussy.

Mine isn't

I have the 300WSM myself, and it feeds every time I have ever asked it too. I think once they changed over to the controlled round feed, they solved the feeding problems.
