What happened to "edit post" option??

There used to be a button for us to edit our own posts and now it is gone.

Where did it go?

Can this be altered? That's kind of a hassle.

It can be, but it won't.

At some point there needs to be a permanent record, otherwise the following posts won't make any sense. (4 days sounds generous to me; I thought it was probably 24 hours)

24 hours seems better to me also. I assumed it was one day.

It's 4 days, not much need for further discussion.

If any member really needs an old post to be edited, please PM any moderator and they will be able to help if the request is reasonable.
