can someone please tell me if i should buy this pistol

I'm gunna go ahead and apologize for not being very knowledgeable about firearms in general, but ok here goes--my friend wants to sell me this old .32 revolver, i think it just might be old enough that it only takes black powder bullets, and trying to fire a modern day bullet will result in turning your gun into a grenade and your hand into mess. However it does include a bourne knuckleduster grip which according to the late b.goforth of http://www.thefirearmsforum.com increases the value of said revolver by %100
here is the youtube video of the revolver in question by the way:

.

IMO, that 100+ y.o. revolver is easily worth the $200, but for a collection - not for shooting.

Whether YOU should buy it is a question only you can answer.

I collect that era of gun... it's well worth the $200.00 if it shoots because of the grip frame, the trigger safety on the gun would date it as a black powder cartridge era gun...

I shoot all mine, I have 3 load levels for 32 S&W from pop gun check out loads that use a soft lead round ball, to loads I could use for occasional CCW use if I'm feeling nostalgic... all my loads use Trailboss powder...

so... if the gun is shootable ( they were made with softer metals & weaker designs, so often they wear, & are not in time to safely shoot ), & the use of corrosive ammo often didn't help, if the guns were not cleaned properly... add to that, if the gun was used ( back in the day ) it may have been exposed to smokeless loads...

I like it... I would love to add it to my collection...

You're actually asking us if you should buy a gun?
What a silly question.
Shooting it is another thing, but of course you should buy it.
Like you really needed to ask.
