Live primer removal. How do you do it?
I keep seeing where people remove live primers and re-use them. How is this done. Besides the fact "very carefully" I would imagine. I have collected quite a few where I crushed the case but I saved it with the hope that one day I could safely remove the primer and re-use.

In your sizing die or universal decaper, very easy.

Yep, totally agree with Crusty. Just make sure you wear your eye protection, and decap it slowly and smoothly.

Thx Crusty for the advise. BTW where did you get the "pool ball" knob for your press(saw it on another post of yours). I'd like to get one if I can or did you make it yourself?

Flush It
You do have a toilet, right?
One tiny casing with a crushed primer, is dead in all that crap! Even a Septic System won't mind at all. |
