Help ID-ing Herretts grips

I'd recently picked-up a used set of Herretts shooting stars off of eBay. These are purportedly intended for a S&W K-Frame revolver. The seller had described them as ...SQUARE FRAME GRIPS THAT WILL FIT THE K FRAME TYPE MODEL 10 GUNS...

The grips' inletting is proportionally similar to my K38's grip, but a little too long and the cross section is a little too shallow. So the butt doesn't quite meet the base of the grip and the backstrap isn't flush. Also the mounting holes don't align with the K38's stock pin, it's ~1/4" forward of the hole provided.

What's strange is that the label is for a Herrett's Model RNSS, which I've read designates the Ruger New Single Six?!?

Any ideas?

Pop over to www.herrett-stocks.com or e-mail [email protected] to be sure, but I think your decoding of the part number sounds reasonable. Maybe the Speed Six model.

...
YOUR STOCKS SHOULD FIT A RUGER SECURITY SIX, NEW STYLE, SQUARE BUTT,
OR POLICE SIX, SQUARE BUTT.
HOPE THIS HELPS, IF CAN PROVIDE ANYTHING FURTHER LET ME KNOW.
