Encore hunters

Calling Encore handgunners, what calibers have you been using during the season this year?

In my county rifles are not permitted for deer hunting so I use a pistol

I have an encore with two deer specific barrels:
a 15" .308 stainless with a factory muzzle tamer break
a 15" win .243 fluted stainless

Both are wearing Leupold 2.5-8X scopes. Both are capable of 1" 3 shot groups at 100 yards.

Nice. I had a Contender but decided next season I will have an Encore in 6.8spc. I normally use a 629 Smith anytime I’m in the woods.
