So, I've read that this can use smokeless powder, any truth to the rumors? Any recomendations on what kind of smokeless powder I should get? Thanks in advance!

Nope.
NAA's web site does not say that smokeless powder is OK. They only speak to black powder and black powder substitutes. I would think that they would specifically mention smokeless powder if it were acceptable, so I'd stay way from it.
