What are some of the better aftermarket sights for lever actions. I'm about to buy a Marlin brush gun in .45/70, but the iron sights from the factory are atrocious. Any ideas?

Antenna,
I have a Marlin 1895, .45-70 govt., that I have cut down. I too didn't like the sites. I had a Wild West Guns, ghost ring sight and high visibility front sight installed on mine. The difference was night to day for me. I believe that williams also make a replacement sight for the Marlin. Hopes this helps you out. Highpower1 |

Peep sights and lever guns go together like ham and eggs, lox and bagels, etc. My 94 wears one.By removing the aperture,I get the Ghost Ring effect much bandied about lately.

They have several styles that might work for you. I've purchased their products in the past and have always been pleased. Good Luck... Joe ------------------ Go NRA |
