New Uberti cattleman

I just got my first BP revolver a couple months ago, which was a Pietta colt 1860 army. It inspired me to get an 1873 model of some type to keep it company. I looked online for quite a while and decided the Uberti cattleman in .357 with 5-1/2" barrel would be a good choice.

Just picked it up the other day and it is more impressive in person than in pictures. Super nice revolver for the money. It's a work of art as is the colt 1860 in my opinion.

Nice! I got a 4-3/4" Uberti last year and LOVE it. They're great pistols. You'll enjoy shooting it. Post some range pics later?

Here's mine.....The wife trying out the 45 colt Uberti at the range. She likes it better than the Glock 26 I bought her for Christmas

She may be getting her own five shooter for Mothers day

Uberti gun reloads

Has anybody used Trail Boss smokeless powder in reloading their 200 gr, 45 long colt brass?

I have two Uberti 5.5" barrel, 45lc pistols. El Patron models.

Nice shooting pistols.

I went the same route starting with a pair of 1860's with conversion cylinders for cowboy shooting. Wanted a pair of 1873's and went with the Cattleman in 357/38. I have never regretted the purchase.

Used it for about 2 years. I only switched powders because I wanted a bit more velocity and something a bit cleaner. TB is easy to throw, easy to use and available.
