I carry a 1987 Smith & Wesson Model 36 snub nose loaded with 5 Federal 125gr Nyclad Hollow points with 5 more in my pocket on a Bianchi speed strip. My gun is at the ready at right hip in my Fobus (yes Fobus) non baton twirling model.

SIG 225, SIG 230 & S&W 60

Strong side carry a 9mm SIG 225. If I need a slimmer profile a SIG 230. When in summer garb with the fanny pack a stainless S&W Model 60 .38 Chief's Special.

H&K USP40 compact in a Galco IWB holster most of the time, but occasionally I'll break out the Kimber CustomII 1911.

I can't legally carry in my state but I can in my house. Which so far has been: Colt Delta Elite in a UM plastic IWB holster. From that experiance I've decided that my "real" carry rig will be a CZ 75B Compact in custom IWB leather by Eric. Holster is being made. Still scrounging money for the gun. I do have a full size 75B that I will use around the house.

Lightweight Colt Commander .45 a.c.p. in Milt Sparks I.W.B. holster.
The H&K P7 is also to be recommended.

1911.

Dan Wesson "Razorback" Serial # 004 - 10mm - series 70 - 1911.

Teddy Jacobson's " Street Reliability Package" modifications.

Ammo = Doubletaps 155 - 165 grain JHP.

Holster - Milt Sparks Versa Max -2.

For me this is it. Powerful - functional - Ascetically pleasing.

This is my duty weapon as well as my personal carry.

12-34hom.

Being the HK snob that I am, I carry either an HK P7M8 or a USP .45 compact.

I carry the P7 in a Del Fatti IWB holster. If the britches I'm wearing are too small to accomodate an IWB, or I have been too pigish at the dinner table, I carry my USP in a belt holster from Desantis.

I prefer to carry the P7 as it just disappears on my hip under a simple t-shirt. With the USP, I have to wear a bit more to properly cover it up.

Springfield 5" PX9109L 1911 in .45 feeding Winchester RA45TP out of Wilson 7-rnd magazines.

Changed the springs, new guide rod, added a magwell, removed the ILS mainspring housing, new grips.

Likewise...

Kel-Tec P-3AT in a K&D pocket holster all the time, spare mag with +1 extension, both carrying 7 rounds of Speer Gold Dot. (May soon evaluate and swap for Golden Saber.)

When the occasion/dress calls for/allows for it: EAA Witness 9mm, 16+1 Glaser +P/Speer Gold Dot +P mix. 16 more Gold Dots in spare mag. Carried in Don Hume OWB.

<-- The name says it all.

Right now, the only carry weapon I own:

EAA Windicator .38 Spl. 2".
6 rounds Hornady Custom HP/XTP.
6 more in right front pocket in HKS DS-A speedloader.
Typically use Uncle Mike's Super Belt Slide nylon holster (pancake-style OWB w/ thumb-break) with polo or Hawaiian shirt.
Occasionally use UM open-top suede IWB holster, if just wearing a loose t-shirt.
For at the range, standard UM Cordura hip holster.

Saving up for a Bersa Thunder .380 ACP for easier concealment, probably with an IWB and pancake-style OWB holsters.

Also considering a 1911 for winter weather when it will be easier to conceal with my leather jacket or baggy sweatshirt with a pancake-style OWB holster.

S&W 296 with 180grain Hornady XTPs in a Kramer thin horsehide pocket holster in front or rear pockets. 22oz loaded with holster! OR for lighter carry 1979 Colt Agent , Sadowski tuned and bobbed with 158grain Remington +P LHP, in a Kramer Pocket holster same positions(18oz loaded and holstered). Heavier armed: BOTH of the above on a Galco Jackass shoulder rig. OR a Lightweight Colt Officers model with 230grain Ranger Talon ammo in a Galco SOB Rig(34oz loaded and holstered-damn them big bullets!). Anything heavier demands a dedicated belt rig BUT THEY CAN be concealed too -of course.
