Lake City Brass 223

I just got my order of 1000 rounds of 223 brass. It was suposed to be once fired mixed. Opened the bag and I've got 1000 new Lake City headstamp brass. Sure don't mind getting this stuff at half price but I wonder if some other poor soul is on the phone screaming about his order now. Or did they just fill the order with what they had?
Any similar experiences? What's with the 223 brass shortage? I looked all over the net before I found someone with 223 in stock.

And where did you order it from? I might just want to see if your experience is typical or not.

Some people would complain if they were hung with a rubber rope not knowing that they were bungee jumping. Tell us where you got your brass so the rest of us can buy them out and keep the shortage going. CB.

I got about 5,000 LC brass and i love the stuff, it has gave me some killer groups out of my Savage. It's Federals Mil -Spec brass so there's a crimp in the primer pocket, which must be removed but for me that's a good trade off the groups i get

I shoot both once-fired LC and PPU M193 brass. Both are excellent quality with the nod to the Prvi brass. It's heavier and weighs more consistent. Both are high-quality and the once-fired LC stuff is good for 5 reloads. I shoot out of ARs and do not like messing with case head separations. You could get more out of a bolt gun.

I'll take all the mil brass I can scrounge. I anneal the necks after reloading 3-4 times.

Once fired LC brass is all that my dealer has. And he has a bunch. I sure do like it. Too bad though, he don't do mail order.
