7mm rem mag AI ???????

i was just woundering if this can be done or has been done i thing it would be one heck of a beast with a 162gn pill on top of say 75 gns of retumbo


any info would be nice

M.O.A, not alot of information just one load 60gr/4350 with 174gr bullet @ 2950fps didn't list who made the 4350 or bullet. If you look at Nolser data for the 7mag their max load with 175gr bullet is 2970fps,Hornady has one load over 2900fps,Speer also has one load.

Hard to say what a 7magAI would do today.

get a copy of P.O. Ackley's reloading manual (2 volumes) and there should be some data for what you are looking for. you will also find that there very little new in cartridge design although some of the powders today weren't available back then

ok thank you guys. i'm just thinking of getting a mag and have three i'm looking at the 7 rem mag the 300wsm and the 7 ackley mag.I might just settle with the 7 rem mag it has done the job for years and years
