? Ely .22 rimfire C.B. caps ?
Several years ago I bought some Ely .22 rimfire C.B. caps. It seemed like they had a copper case instead of brass and the projectile was pointed lead. as I'm down to my last 10 rounds I'm lookiing to buy some more. I've tried CCI .22 rimfire C.B.caps, They have brass cases and a round lead projectile, BUT, they are not the same as the Ely and I don't like them. Anyone have a lead as to where I can buy them???? Ely C.B.Caps
Yes. I kind of measured a case( I didn't have an empty case so I kind "eye-balled" the case) and from the bottom(base) to what appears to be the top of the neck it is 0.24". Where as the CCI .22-short-CB the case is 0.42. The OAL on the Ely C.B. Cap miles out to 0.446, and the OAL on the CCI short-C.B. is 0.686. I hope that this helps. THANX--SNEAKY
