Can't Remove Attachments
I have attachments that were made in a post that is now closed to edit and my User CP Attachment Management Window does not give me a choice to remove. Instead is only lists the thread and post where the attachments are located.
I would like to remove these attachments. Does anyone know how to get them removed |

When you are viewing the attachments list, you should see a check box to the right of each attachment and a "Delete Selected" button at the bottom of the list.

No Check Box Available
Thank you for your response Mal.
I know I should see a check box next to the attachment but that is the problem. The window for these particular attachments does not display a check box for removal. The attachments are in the following posts: http://www.thefiringline.com/forums/...32#post3416532 http://www.thefiringline.com/forums/...39#post3383839 |

Member Walkalong over at THR came up with the solution to this puzzle. I'll share it here for others who might get caught by it in the future.
If a thread is locked, the attachments will not have the check boxes used to delete them. The thread has to be reopened for the check boxes to reappear. In forums other than the Gun Show forums, you will have to PM any mod to assist with deleting attachments from a locked thread. |
