I don't have an old catalog ....but I think the drop at the comb and the heel on the 525 and 425 were different / and they felt significantly different.

I seem to recall the forends were different too ...

and I don't recall the 425 having the palm swell either...

and I think the angle the butt pad was cut on the 525 was different from the 425....

( while I realize these are small things - they were big issues for me / why I ultimately sold my 525 series).

...but maybe not....lord knows I don't remember what I had for breakfast either...

You're correct on the palm swell, but everything else was the same.,.

let's end this thread. The seller of the Benelli Sport II rejected my offer of $1000 plus $40 for shipping. He can keep the gun, that was my high offer...
